19 April Today Catnip kidded her second litter and produced triplets – two bucklings and one black and white doeling. They are all very strong and healthy and we look forward to watching them develop.
21 March Today our lovely doe China Doll presented us with twins – a tiny gold doe who unfortunately didn’t survive past 48 hours and a stunning black, blue eyed buckling who is thriving.
1 March Some of our doe kids from late last year. Ivydale Coco – chocolate with blue eyes, Ivydale Harriet and Ivydale Opal. All developing well and we look forward to showing them later this year.
25 February We said goodbye to our lovely blue eyed boy, Ivydale Sapphire, today. He has gone to a lovely stud in New South Wales where I am sure he will produce some quality kids.
11 February The DGSA held a show at Allora Ag Show today and, once again, our little team did us proud with Ivydale Saffron taking out Champion Nigerian Dwarf Doe and Junior Champion Doe All Breeds. Our little buckling, Ivydale Schooner, was awarded Grand Champion Buck at 5 months of age and handled by Greg because I had to run to the dog section to show my dogs. Schooner is one of quads kidded by Saffron.
23 January Today our lovely Carmen once again produced triplets – one doeling and two bucklings. She is so consistent with what she produces. Saffron, who won Best Udder at the Summer Spectacular show, is a Carmen daughter. The pic is Carmen a week before she was due. She looks so worried about what is going to happen!!
20 January From time to time we do sell does and today we parted with Ivydale Chilli which was a bit sad. Wish we could keep them all but she has gone to a lovely stud in North Queensland where we know she will be well looked after.
14 January Today, at Nanango showgrounds, the DGSA held the Regional Branch Summer Spectacular double shows with one very experienced dairy goat judge from NSW and one dairy goat and ND specialist breeder judge from WA. We were so happy with our results!! The highlight was when the WA ND judge awarded Ivydale Saffron 1st place in the Best Udder First Lactation class against all other dairy breeds.
January 8th First Fleet Beth kidded two gorgeous babies today – one doe and one little buck. Both doing really well and, like most NDs, she is a lovely mother. Sire is First Fleet Moondance
