12 October Our gorgeous doe Saffron presented us with quadruplets today – 2 bucklings and 2 doelings. All born naturally and all doing really well. We will have to sell at least one of the bucklings but at this stage we will retain both does.
24 July FF Betty kidded 5 last night but unfortunately, due to complications, only 2 survived – one buckling and one doeling. They are both doing well.
10 July Stoney Creek Acacia kidded a live healthy doeling and a still born buckling. The doeling is already spoken for and will be going to her new home in a few weeks.
9 July FF Maud kidded one buckling who was on his feet in no time at all! He is spoken for and will be moving to his new home in a few weeks.
7 July Ivydale Catnip kidded 2 bucklings today and both are strong and healthy. They are sired by FF Elliot and one of them has blue eyes so we will be retaining him to see how he develops.
6 July Ivydale Cinnamon kidded triplets today – 2 bucklings and a doeling. These are sired by FF Elliot and one of the bucklings has lovely blue eyes. We will be retaining him and the doeling.
4 July Stoney Creek Botanica kidded two bucklings today and both doing well.
7 May 2022 At Marburg Show today, we had a lovely day with a lovely group of people and some excellent results. We took Ivydale China Doll (blue eyes/polled) who won her class and was then awarded Champion Doe Kid of the show and Reserve Champion ND Doe at just over 6 months of age!!! Ivydale Cassia was 2nd to China Doll in her class. FF Elliot won the Sire’s Progeny class and FF Carmen won the Dam’s Progeny Class so we are very proud of our little coloured goats!!
27 March 2022 We competed at Toowoomba Royal Dairy Goat section today with some good results. FF Carmen, Ivydale Saffron and Ivydale China Doll all won their classes. Ivydale Chilli came 2nd in hers but it was very exhausting for the young ones so they needed a snooze afterwards!
8 March 2022 Today we took delivery of another 3 First Fleet quality 100% NDs. A stunning buck kid, FF Moondance, who is sired by frozen semen from Castle Rock Mad About The Moon and a doe FF Betty and her daughter FF Beth. Beth is sired by frozen semen from Castle Rock Harvest Moon. We are very excited to introduce these new genetics from Castle Rock to Ivydale and look forward to seeing progeny from Moondance later this year.
